We cater for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts of any number of people; you can be an individual or part of a large group.
You can be guided or self-guided and walk high in the Sierras or low in the valleys.
We use the best traditional hotels in the area that offer the finest local food and comfortable accommodation. They are all small family run hotels which fit beautifully into the local Spanish surroundings and offer fantastic views.
All our walks are the finest that the area has to offer. We give you the opportunity to experience a range of amazing routes off the beaten track, as well as to take pleasure from the more popular routes. Whichever you decide, you will be able to explore this tranquil, untouched region at your leisure.
Our guides are professional, qualified and very knowledgeable of the local regions, along with their history, culture, flora and fauna.
Levels Of Walking
We have three levels of walking.
We have graded our walking levels from our experience with past clients and our extensive knowledge of walking, trekking and hiking over the past 20 years here in Spain and the U.K. The walking here is harder than the U.K. with the gradients often being steeper and the paths rougher. As a simple rule, walking a kilometre here is about the same as walking a mile in the U.k. Also, bear in mind you will be walking for a week and for at least two consecutive days and the heights gained can be a factor.
We have graded the walks low, medium and high. This reflects the distance, altitude and effort of the holiday/walk.
| Grade | Distance | Altitude Ascent/Descent | Altitude | Paths |
| LOW | 6km - 8km | <=400m ascent/descent | Below 2000m | Good well marked paths |
| MEDIUM | 9km - 14km | <=1000m ascent/descent | Below 3000m | Good paths some path finding skills required |
| HIGH | 15km-25km | <=2000m ascent/descent | Below 3500m | fMostly good paths but some scrambling and path finding skills required |
